Hazard tree work at Bridgman Park will bring temporary closures of the parking lot and playground from Sept. 8 to 10.
According to the news release by the District of North Vancouver, crews will be working from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day to remove two large-diameter trees in the parking lot.

The parking lot will be closed to the public while the tree removal is underway. Once that work is complete, crews will move to the playground area to prune approximately six large maple trees.
According to the news release, the pruning will remove dead or dying limbs from the trees surrounding the playground to help reduce potential hazards and improve public safety. The playground will remain closed while work is taking place. Visitors are asked to follow posted signage and directions from staff and trail spotters while crews are working.
