Scuba diver’s body recovered from Deep Cove waters

The body was found near Strathcona Lookout Park



North Vancouver RCMP has recovered the body of a scuba diver from Deep Cove waters.

According to DeVries, the man and his partner were diving off Indian Arm last evening when the man did not come back to the surface.

Rescue parties from Coast Guard and other rescue agencies tried to search for the body but couldn’t not locate the man.

Later, the underwater recovery team of North Van RCMP was able to find the body near  Strathcona Lookout Park.

DeVries did not release any more details, but said police doesn’t suspect any foul play in this incident.
