A learner motorcyclist in North Vancouver was ticketed after police said he broke several restrictions tied to his licence. According to North Vancouver RCMP, officers stopped the rider for driving after midnight, carrying a passenger, riding without a supervisor, and failing to produce a driver’s licence.

Under ICBC’s Class 6L motorcycle licence rules, riders must not carry passengers, must only ride between 5 a.m. and midnight, and must be supervised by a qualified rider.

“This driver either did not read the restrictions or figured the rules did not apply to him,” North Vancouver RCMP said in a social media post. Police said the man was issued tickets for the violations.
